Introducing: Baller Bucks

It’s a rewards program that lets you earn points for coming to games, buying merch, and more. Use the Baller Bucks you’ve earned for discounts on merch.

How does it work?

It’s a digital wallet “ticket” that lives in your phone’s wallet system, with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet both supported.

To get started, you have to opt-in to the program by signing up, and then download your Baller Bucks pass into your phone’s digital wallet. It’s all based on your email address, so be sure to use the email address you usually use to buy Ballers tickets. Please note: Baller Bucks do expire at the end of the season, so definitely use ‘em or lose ‘em.

We’ve partnered with PassEntry and the Solana Foundation to bring you Baller Bucks.

Sign up at https://oakland-ballers.passentry.com/login and use the email address you usually use to buy Ballers tickets. This is the same place you can visit to review your balance and redeem your bucks.

Once you’ve logged in there and verified your email, you’ll see a link to “Download Your Membership Pass” — click that link from your phone or on your laptop/desktop, and it’ll give you instructions on how to add the pass to your wallet.

Earning Baller Bucks

Earn Points by Attending Games: Every time you check in at the game, just like you normally do, no matter if you have a paper ticket, are zooming in on a digital PDF, showing a QR code from an email, or using a ballpark e-ticket: because we have your email address, we reward you with points when you check in. You get 100 Baller Bucks for coming to the game.

Earn Points by Buying Merch in the Ballpark: When you’re buying merch in the ballpark, tell the staff there that you’re a Baller Bucks member before you place your order, and tell them you want to earn points. After you’ve paid, when the staff member instructs you to, tap your phone to the PassEntry tap-terminal at your register — it’ll automatically reward you for the purchase you just made. You’ll earn 2 Baller Bucks for every dollar spent on merch in ballpark.

Using Baller Bucks

Get a Discount on Merch: Once you have enough points, at the Baller Bucks main web portal (same place you signed up!), you’ll be able to redeem points for a discount code good for merchandise in the ballpark.

You have to exchange your Baller Bucks for a discount code in the portal before you get the discount.  You do not automatically get discounts unless you take action and choose to redeem points for a discount code.

Once you've redeemed your discount, a QR code will appear on-screen on your phone AND be sent to you by email. Please tell the staff you’d like to use a Baller Bucks discount and ask them to scan your QR code before checkout. For 1000 Baller Bucks, get a discount code for 25% off any single merch item in-ballpark. We also run specials from time to time that offer other deals.
