Ballers Sign RHP Carson Lambert
OAKLAND, Calif. - March 14, 2024
The Oakland Ballers sign RHP Carson Lambert to a contract for the 2024 season.
Lambert is a former farmhand of the Cincinnati Reds, where he pitched in their Arizona Complex League team in 2023. He threw 6.1 scoreless innings with 7 Ks and 1 BB in 3 games.
Originally from Thousand Oaks, CA, Lambert pitched at USC from 2019 to 2022 pitching in a total of 66 games for the Trojans with 99 Ks and 30 BB in that time.
He transfered to Texas A&M for his final college year in 2023 and subsequently went on to the Draft League with the West Virginia Black Bears where he was then signed as an undrafted free agent by the Reds.
The Ballers have announced their local Oakland-based Open Tryout on April 6 at Laney College.
