Ballers Sign C Taylor Maldonado
OAKLAND, Calif. - March 20, 2024
The Oakland Ballers sign C Taylor Maldonado to a contract for the 2024 season.
Maldonado grew up in Stockton and attended Bear Creek High School before starting his college baseball career at Los Medanos College in Pittsburg. He later transferred to Bluefield University in Bluefield, VA where he played for two seasons.
He most recently played for the Washington Blue Sox as part of the California Winter League in Palm Springs, CA.
All three catchers the Ballers have signed this offseason are from Northern California with Maldonado and Tyler Lozano hailing from Stockton and Coleton Horner from Turlock.
The Ballers have announced their local Oakland-based Open Tryout on April 6 at Laney College.
